Job Responsibilities:

A Material Handler must have a good understanding of Material Handling and Shipping/Receiving in a production Environment, Safe Working Loads (SWL), and must be an on the job safety person. He/she must comply with all safety procedures and guidelines, and comply with all company issued policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. He/she must also have excellent work ethic including excellent attendance, punctually, and the desire to complete designated work in a timely fashion.

You will be one of the lucky personnel to be a team member that makes up the premier Northeast builder of double-hulled barges, tugboats, ferries, aluminum CTVs and other vessels. Some of the team members have been with us for over 20 years and take pride when our vessels are launched and delivered to their respected owners.


This position is located at Quonset Point in North Kingstown, R.I.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Material Handling, Shipping, Receiving and Order Filling Knowledge.
  • proficient with Windows Based Material Control Systems.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, kneel, squat, walk, sit, or stoop. Full range of motion.
  • Able to lift tools up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
  • Must have correctable vision to 20/40.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Licenses to operate a 4 & 16 Ton Fork Lift.
  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
