Toray’s Sales team currently has an opportunity available for a Customer Service Representative. Reporting directly to the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is responsible for maintaining and servicing customers’ logistical needs.  The Customer Service Representative performs all duties to support order entry, shipment, and inventory and acts as the liaison with Manufacturing, Technical, and the Sales and Marketing Departments.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Receives and processes new orders via fax, phone, or mail
  • Coordinates production/allocation for new orders
  • Relays order information to customers, TPA sales representatives, and supervisor
  • Maintains a database of open order status
  • Provides timely and accurate customer information to Sales Representatives
  • Aids Materials Control Administrator in the reconciliation of month end satellite warehouse inventories
  • Prepares shipped orders for invoicing and monitor possible delays in invoicing process
  • Tracks warehouse orders, monitor inventory, stock levels and age of inventory
  • Provides daily information on special schedule needs to Materials/ Production Scheduling Manager
  • Prepares necessary credit/debit paperwork for his/her supervisor’s signature on discrepancies 

We are seeking candidates with a High School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ year’s customer service experience with an emphasis on manufacturing.

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner, (over the phone, in particular)
  • Very good problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with SAP a plus
  • Must be a team player
