Position Overview:
To become a member of a highly skilled production team as a Machine Operator. The ideal candidate is hard working, flexible, and able to perform a variety of machining tasks. 3-5 years minimum experience is desired. Additional training is available for the right candidate who is ready to learn and grow with the company.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Plan machining tasks by studying work order requirements and drawings
  • Setup and run a variety of manual, NC, and CNC machines including grinding machines, hydraulic presses, lathes, and drills
  • Use measuring tools to inspect completed work against the design specification and drawings
  • Update work-order documents after completion of production steps
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintain an orderly inventory of required tools for each assigned machine and work station
  • Weekly cleaning and preventative maintenance of assigned machinery

Skills desired:

  • Proficiency with all-around machining techniques (grinders, presses, lathes, drills, etc)
  • Experience with precision measuring tools
  • Experience with CNC and NC programming
  • Ability to comprehend and retain detailed verbal or written instructions from production paperwork
  • 20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses
  • Cleanliness and attention to detail while handling, assembling, and machining precision parts
  • Endurance in repetitive work
  • Standing for long periods of time

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
