Job Summary

As the Material Flow Coordinator, you will maintain an accurate inventory of stock items by inspecting, counting, labeling and locating items received into stocking locations, and shipping from those locations.

Responsibilities will include

  • Posting appropriate inventory transactions using ERP system software
  • Inspecting, counting, labeling, and locating items received or distributed from stocking locations.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records of all items received and distributed from stocking locations.
  • Providing data and source documents for timely data entries by others.
  • Making appropriate written or system entries to complete assigned tasks.
  • Receiving, stocking and shipping parts.
  • Picking, packaging and shipping parts to other Hexagon facilities using source documents.
  • Operating forklifts to load/unload freight from trucks, trailers & containers.
  • Distributing office supplies.
  • Picking up, sorting and delivering incoming mail and preparing outgoing mail and packages.


Background and Skills Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of warehouse and inventory control principles
  • Ability to work from verbal instructions, computer screens or written instructions
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Ability to work in a temperature controlled environment
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.
  • Experience with operating forklifts
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Team mentality
  • Experience with inventory control or ERP software (ERP LX or BPCS) a plus
  • Some college and/or APICS courses a plus
