Primary Function:  This position’s main responsibility is to utilize their mechanical engineering education, experience and abilities to ensure superior quality and efficient production of our products.

Essential Duties: 

Responsible for installation of new equipment, modification of existing equipment, and identifying and implementing equipment-related production improvements.
Develop projects from concept to completion including initial design, project proposal, budget, schedule, fabrication and installation/commissioning.
Submit budget estimates and maintain control of budgets relevant to assigned projects.
Assist the Maintenance Department when required.
Maintain a high standard of safety.
Work with outside resources (contractors) to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required) with 2-7 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering.

Skills & Qualifications: 

Strong PC skills to include 3D Solid Modeling (Autodesk Inventor experience preferred), Autodesk AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).  Strong communications skills – oral, written, presentation and networking.  Time management and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.  Ability to manage budgets with a focus on quality and cost-consciousness.  Capable of working in a team environment and have a keen eye on safety. Ability to lift 50lbs and function in a hands-on environment.  Experience with building systems, pumps, piping, mechanical drive systems and industrial equipment a plus.
