RTG is seeking a qualified Project Manager with professional experience in Geotechnical, Waterfront, Structural, Civil, Geo-Environmental, and/or Construction Engineering to be based out of our North Kingstown, RI office.


  • Participating in project and Client pursuits including proposal preparation;
  • Serving in a project management and/or lead technical role for projects;
  • Planning site investigation programs (e.g., surveys, inspections, soil borings);
  • Completing Engineering Studies, Reports, Schedules, and Cost Estimates;
  • Designing foundations and waterfront structures;
  • Completing slope stability evaluations;
  • Designing retaining walls and reinforced soil slopes;
  • Performing settlement evaluation and mitigation measures;
  • Preparing Plans and Specifications; and
  • Mentoring junior technical staff.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field, Graduate degree preferred;
  • P.E. License.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience as an engineer, or a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Project Manager; and


  • $80,000 to $110,000 annually.

The successful candidate will be based in RTG’s North Kingstown, RI office. This person will help support existing RTG projects located primarily in Rhode Island and Connecticut, and will be active in the expansion of RTG’s services into Massachusetts and New York.
