As the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be an integral part of driving the on-going sustainable growth of the business in partnership with our business leaders.  You will drive all aspects of the candidate experience in partnership with our hiring managers and execute an internal vision for excellence in hiring.

In this role you will report to the HR Director for the business unit and partner with the Human Resources Team to ensure the development, implementation and execution of human resources strategies that drive our business. You will bring strong talent acquisition skills and have a passion for securing and retaining a productive, diverse and engaged workforce comprised of the best talent available!

To drive our Talent Acquisition function forward, you will:

  • Drive strategy and framework for talent acquisition across all areas of the business.
  • Establish, track and iterate measurements focusing on the effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition function; leveraging existing Applicant Tracking System.
  • Act as a strategic partner to all functional leaders assisting with hiring plans, resource allocation and communications/advertising to decrease time to fill
  • Partner with our Head of Talent & Development to deliver an Employer Brand that helps ensure the availability of present and future talent for our organization.
  • Partner with our Director of HR Operations to drive the implementation of our newly-minted Sage HRIS system.  Undertake competitive analysis to determine an appropriate salary range for all roles.
  • Lead University/Technical school recruitment driving participation in relevant events, Talent      Acquisition campaigns and sponsorship opportunities.  Help drive Internship programs.
  • Leverage existing talent management tools to help build a succession pipeline of internal talent.
  • Define and manage best practices for partnering with outside agencies, executive search firms, when required
  • Build out internal advertising for Hexagon MI Employee Referral Program
  • Responsible for preparation and submission of Affirmative Action Plans, EEO-1 and VETS-4212 reports
  • Travel up to 15%

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Human Resources or related subject area
  • 5+ years of progressively related work experience
  • Ability to adapt to a fluid, change-intense environment as part of a high-performance team
  • Broad understanding of government compliance rule
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now® helpful
  • Highly-effective interpersonal relationship skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills appropriate for all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs - experience and comfort with presentation tools such as Adobe Connect, WebEx, GoToMeeting™
  • Master’s Degree preferred
