Welder

Rapid Prep is a growing national company that services the abrasive blasting industry and is looking for a Welder with the following skills and qualifications:

-Candidate must have good driving record and no criminal record. Technician will be required at times to service equipment in local government facilities. No applicant with a felony conviction will be considered due to the access requirement

- Minimum of 3+ years with MIG and stick welding

-Recent tech school graduates with a welding degree welcome to apply

- Ability to read and understand tape measurements

-Ability to follow directions

-Ability to lift at least 80 lbs. at times is required

-Should have basic welding hand tools, welding hood, gloves and jacket

-Valid driver's license

-Dependable and hardworking with a reliable means of transportation

-Willingness to learn

-Able to read and write English

Candidate will be compensated based on having a certain level of knowledge of the above criteria and/ or an ability to learn these skills from operations management. Above all else candidate must demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn the business of surface preparation.
